The strongest, which actually weakened before moving into the United States, produced golf ball hail over far east El Paso into Horizon City. Flooding also occurred due to excessive hail amounts plugging up drains.

The most serious incident was a roof partially ripped off a supermarket in Anthony, TX killing three people. Radar estimated almost 2.5 inches of rainfall north of Fabens which created ponding of water as well as water running into structures including a restaurant in the area.
